From Michael Phelps

I’m an olympic champion and I have ADHD. Growing up, I was always bouncing off the walls, I could never sit still. If I could go back in time and tell my younger self something, I would tell him to believe what’s in his heart and never ever give up. ADHD is something I’ve lived with my entire life and will continue to live with. Once I found that it was okay to talk to somebody and seek help, it changed my life forever. I now live my life to the fullest. I had classmates who teachers would treat differently than they would treat me. I had one teacher tell me that I wouldn’t amount to anything. It was a challenge and it was a struggle; however, I wouldn’t have changed what happened. I look at myself, who I am today, and I am so proud and happy of who I have become.
